Inspire A Learner LLC, a family-run operation, wants to convert a vacant office building at 1155 Marlkress Road between Cardone Avenue and Allison Drive into a youth enrichment and education center.

The Zoning Board of Adjustment has scheduled a public caucus at 7 p.m. followed by the public meeting at 7:30 p.m. Details on attending the meeting, which is remote only, are available here.

Previous 70and73.com reporting: Islamic learning center asks Cherry Hill zoning board's OK to convert Marlkress Road building into school.

The proposed center is not a permitted use in the Township's Industrial Restricted Zone, according to a traffic study from Bowman Consulting Group Ltd. of Burlington. Inspire A Learner, which now operates at 1878 Route 70 East in Cherry Hill, owns the property, according to its application.

Inspire A Learner seeks a use variance, minor site plan approval and bulk variances from the board.

"The center will operate year-round and serve children and youth ages 2 to 18 through a range of structured programs designed to support physical, social-emotional, and cognitive development," according to Inspire A Learner's project overview.
