Medford Lakes voters turned out on Tuesday, casting 1,868 votes for four candidates for Borough Council, according to unofficial results from the Burlington County Election Board.

Four candidates were running for three openings on the council in the non-partisan election. The winners were:

  • William R. Fields (Commitment to Community), 564 votes or 30.19% of the total.
  • Matthew R. Bailey (Honor, Integrity, Community), 560 votes or 29.98% of the total.
  • Gerald Yowell (Community, Service, Commitment), 518 votes or 27.73% of the total.

Joseph A. Aromando III (Democracy Works Best When Everyone Votes) was the losing candidate, receiving 226 votes, or 12.1% of the total.

The three winning candidates won in each of the borough's election districts. The vote totals in each: District 1, 402; District 2, 447; District 3, 529 and District 4, 490.

The terms end on June 30, 2028.
