A nonprofit that owns a marina and 6.2 acres of land on the Rancocas Creek in Riverside, Burlington County, will auction the property at the end of April.
The land and riparian rights of Lightning Jack's Marina "provide a future opportunity as a residential redevelopment site," according to sales material from Max Spann Real Estate & Auction Co., which is selling the marina for Lightning Jack's Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Brick Township, Ocean County, where it operates another marina on the Manasquan River.
A restaurant and apartment also is on the marina site, which offers boaters access to the Delaware River about two miles west on the creek.

Property previews will be conducted on April 9 and April 22 and the online auction will be at 11 a.m. on April 30, according to the auctioneers.
"This rare investment opportunity offers direct access to the Delaware River and is ideally positioned to serve boaters, fishing enthusiasts, and waterfront businesses," according to the Max Spann announcement.
"Lightning Jack's Marina is a unique asset in the market, offering both a thriving business and a highly desirable waterfront location," company President Max Spann Jr. said in a statement. "With increasing demand for boating and waterfront properties, we expect strong interest in this auction."
