Drive-through Starbucks proposed for Larchmont Commons Shopping Center in Mount Laurel.

The owner of the Larchmont Commons Shopping Center on Route 38 in Mount Laurel plans to build a Starbucks with a drive-through lane and an unnamed restaurant on the center's parking lot.

Larchmont Commons LLC of Villanova, Pennsylvania is scheduled to appear before the Planning Board on March 10 for approval of its preliminary and final site plans. A public hearing on the application will be part of the meeting, which begins at 7 p.m.

Plans filed with the board show a 2,336-square-foot Starbucks and an adjoining 3,225-square-foot restaurant on Route 38's westbound side.

The stretch of Route 38 near Larchmont Commons has seen continued development over the last two years. 

In December, the Township zoning board approved a concept plan for a Sammy's Express Car Wash about a half mile to the west on Route 38. A Super Wawa was approved by the zoning board in 2020 near Hartford Road on the eastbound lane of Route 38.
