A developer's plan to build a self-storage center in a residential zone on Federal Street is scheduled to go before the Mount Laurel Zoning Board of Adjustment on Wednesday, November 6.

MLS Operating LLC of Edgewater Park was scheduled to appear before the board at its October 9 meeting to seek a use variance allowing a commercial use in a residential zone but that was postponed until this week.Â
Unlike in some municipalities, the Mount Laurel zoning board does not offer citizens an opportunity to remotely participate in, or even view, its meetings. Citizens must attend the zoning meeting in person, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Municipal Center, 750 Centerton Road.
However, a similar Mount Laurel public body, the Planning Board, meets on Zoom, offering citizens a chance to remotely watch or testify.
The only other item on this week's zoning board agenda is a technical correction of a former approval for Cherry Collision ML LLC, 1205 and 1207 Route 73.
