(This hearing has been moved to March 16.)

The Marlton Assembly of God is growing so much that it's asking permission to build a 9,000 square foot expansion of its existing building.

Seating would increase 46% to 950 from the current 650 and the school would get additional classrooms, according to the Assembly's plan for 625 East Main St., Marlton.

A hearing will be held on the application by the Evesham Township Zoning Board.

Zoning rules require about 425 parking spaces, but the Assembly is asking permission for only 351, according to the application.

One of the Assembly's pastors recently told 70and73.com that the church could not comment on its expansion plans until after the Zoning Board's decision.
