Two incumbent Democrats reelected to Voorhees Township Committee.

The two incumbents running for the two seats on the Voorhees Township Committee were reelected on Tuesday, according to unofficial Camden County voting results.

Both elected candidates now serve as deputy mayors of the Township.

Democrat Michelle Nocito received 9,829 votes, or 48% of the total 20,443 votes cast. Fellow Democrat Jason Ravitz received 9,468 votes, or 46% of the total.

Nocito received 5,029 votes by mail, 3,300 votes on Election Day, 379 in vote by mail and 1,500 in early voting. Ravitz got 4,859 votes by mail, 3,145 on Election Day and 1,464 in early voting.

Challenger Maisha Aziz, an independent, got 1,013 votes, or nearly 5% of the total. She received 440 votes on Election Day, 379 in vote by mail and 194 in early voting.

Overall, half of the total votes were cast by mail with the balance on Election Day (34%) and in early voting (16%)
