Cherry Hill High School East.

Cherry Hill High School East students and staff were dismissed early Tuesday after police investigated a threat at the Kresson Road school, according to the Cherry Hill Police Department.

Students and staff who still were on location were relocated to Cherry Hill High School West, the department reported in an announcement emailed shortly after 11:30 a.m.

Cherry Hill campus police officers were at the school and Township officers arrived to help the school with the response and investigation.

"There will continue to be a law enforcement presence in the area of the school for several hours. More information relating to the investigation may be released at a later time," according to police.
