Cherry Hill will hold its sixth annual Juneteenth Parade & Festival on Saturday at Croft Farm, 100 Bortons Mill Road.

The event, commemorating the end of slavery on June 19, 1865, is hosted by the Cherry Hill African American Civic Association in partnership with Cherry Hill Township.

Admission is free for the event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Food and drinks can be purchased.

"This year's event will include live music, performances, vendors, food trucks, family-friendly activities, including a petting zoo, games and more," according to the announcement. Cherry Hill Township Council President William Carter will be this year's Grand Marshall.

The rain date is on Sunday.
