Pick your plants at Camden County's plant sale on Saturday.

Still shopping for plants to fill out your garden, or seeking to replace ones caught in the freeze?

Camden County's Certified Gardeners and the Board of Commissioners will hold their annual plant sale on Saturday, April 27, in Blackwood.

"Thousands of perennials, herbs, vegetables and more (are) available for great prices," according to the county's announcement.

Besides the sale, the 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. event will include a plant clinic, interactive workshops and children's activities.

People who attend also will be able to pick up a six-pack of native plants, featuring swamp milkweed, goldenrod, tickseed and coneflower.

"Planting native species is essential to maintaining biodiversity and preserving the environment," Commissioner Jonathan Young said in a statement. "We encourage our gardeners to pick up a pack of native plants to help support native species here in Camden County."

The sale is at the county's Sustainability Campus, 508 Lakeland Road in Blackwood. It will be held rain or shine.
