Voorhees opioid treatment

The proposed site of the Affinity Healthcare Group medical office offering outpatient opioid treatment is at 200 W. Somerdale Road, Voorhees.

Affinity Healthcare Group Voorhees LLC wants to offer outpatient opioid treatment services at 200 W. Somerdale Road in Voorhees, according to a legal notice.

The Voorhees Planning Board has scheduled a hearing on March 11, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. because the proposal requires a change of use for a non-residential property. NOTE: This was canceled because of COVID-19.

"We provide medically supervised Methadone and Suboxone (Buprenorphine) maintenance treatment to individuals who are attempting to overcome an addiction to or dependence upon heroin or other opioids," according to Affinity's website.

Information on Affinity's plan is available in the office of the Planning Board's secretary at the Voorhees Township Municipal Building, 2400 Voorhees Town Center.
