A Turning Point restaurant will be added to an assisted-living and retail development in Mount Laurel on Route 38 near Ark Road, according to plans from the developer.
The Township Planning Board on Thursday is scheduled to hold a public hearing on the amended site plan proposed by developer Delco Development for the project. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. remotely by Zoom.
Delco Development's project for a 202-bed assisted living facility and retail space was approved by the board at the end of last year. The plan included a coffee/doughnut shop with drive-through service and a nail salon.
Now Delco is asking to add a 3,500-square-foot Turning Point restaurant and a 2,500-square-foot pizza restaurant to the project.
A traffic impact study provided to the board for its original decision still is valid, according to Delco, because "the proposed use adjustments generate minor increases in the expected traffic from this site."
Turning Point's website lists 21 restaurants in New Jersey, including in Cherry Hill, Marlton and Moorestown.
