Democrats won the three open seats on Evesham Township Council in Tuesday's elections.

Democrat Joseph Fisicaro Jr. was the top vote-getter with a total of 13,378, or 28.18% of the total 47,478 votes cast.

Fellow Democrat Christian Smith got 12,909 votes, or 27.19% of the total.

Council veteran Robert DiEnna, a Republican, got 10,542 votes, or 22.2% of the total. 

The other Republican, Thomas DeMarsey, received 10,625 votes, or 22.38% of the total.

Democrats collected 55% of the total vote and Republicans got nearly 45%. Write-in vote totaled 24.

In a separate race, for one seat with an unexpired two-year term, Democrat Krystal Hunter got 13,013 votes, or 54.8% of the total, and Republican Keith Roman got 10,719 votes, or 45.14% of the total.
