The New Jersey Conservation Foundation and governments are at work trying to negotiate a deal to buy 835 acres of privately owned land next to the 1,300-acre Black Run Preserve, owned by Evesham Township and maintained with the help of the Friends of the Black Run Preserve.

If Evesham takes ownership of the property, it would be preserved from development.

The untouched woodland was captured from the air on Friday by drone photographer Rob Blecha, whose company is pioneeerdrone.com.

Blecha launched from Longwood Road and Simsbury Drive in Voorhees and captured the area covered by the Samost family property and the Black Run Preserve.

If the pristine private land is saved from development, hikers are expected to enjoy new trails linking from the Black Run Preserve.
