The Barclays Rehabilitation and Health Care Center wants Cherry Hill Township permission to give its building on Route 70 a facelift.

A subacute rehabilitation center and long-term care facility, owner Barclay Realty LLC applied to the Planning Board to install a front-entrance canopy and make other improvements to the building.

Details on the application, scheduled to be heard by the board at its meeting next Monday, April 7, are available here. The owner seeks a site plan waiver with bulk variances.

The original structure on the property at 1412 Route 70 East was built in 1970, according to a Township review of the application.

An operations statement submitted with the application says the center has 108 beds for patients and during peak hours 55 employees work at the site.Â
